Here is a preview of a beautiful shoot from this weekend. More to come, but I just love this photo with the three girls wandering off into a field.

I had the exhausting pleasure of photographing little Shane and his family recently. To explain the title of this post and the last sentence, it needs to be said that Shane likes to run… a lot. I didn’t have a pedometer handy, but I’m going to guess that Shane completed at least a 2k at the park. In the beginning I tried to keep up until I realized that he was running a predefined course, so I just tried to catch him as he completed each lap. Eventually he tired out and my life became significantly easier.

When I got a call from my best friend from childhood to take photos of his family, I was delighted. Not long ago (cough), okay… seventeen years ago, kids were probably the farthest thing from our imagination. But as things go, in the passing years, Josh met Bridget, they fell in love, you know the rest. Soon I found myself standing by the alter as he was married.
It was a large mental leap for me to accept that it was finally happening, everyone I knew was getting married. Flash forward four years and Josh and Bridget have the coolest little boy you ever did meet, Dillon. This was my first time meeting Dillon and we had a ton of fun shooting some photos together. With no further adieu, I give you a sneak peak from the Anderson’s shoot.

If you’ve ever seen a brother and sister who are best friends and wondered what they must have been like as kids together, it would be pretty clear that Mia and Jake are going to be them. At four and two years of age, these handfuls have more personality and smarts than you can imagine. Our shoot was like a well negotiated corporate merger with me taking photos on one side of the table and Mia wanting to put on makeup and play Peter Pan on the other (Jake by the way, was quick to not miss out on the makeup as well… looked fun). So as our chess game played out I was able to capture these two at their best playing around and looking cute in their backyard. (See more of Mia and Jake in the Galleries drop down)
This shot cracks me up, it says so much about both of them.

This is a 75% unassisted handstand, impressive Jake!

So, the site is at about 80% and we’re doing a soft launch. More galleries will be added in the next few days as well as more information. If you run into any problems, please email me at contact@trevordebth.com and let me know about it. In the meantime, browse around and enjoy.
